Королевский прием

Нового победителя Уимблдона Новака Джоковича его родная Сербия встречала как национального героя. Тысячи болельщиков вышли на улицы с флагами и плакатами, а Джокович от аэропорта до здания парламента ехал на открытом автобусе, чтобы его могли увидеть все желающие.
Но Новаку вряд ли удастся долго отдыхать,  в конце недели он заявлен играть в Кубке Дэвиса. Этот трофей сербская команда выиграла семь месяцев назад, обыграв в финале французов. На этот раз сербам предстоит встреча со шведами, а учитывая, что самая грозная сила хозяев  - Робин Содерлинг не примет участия из-за травм, у гостей есть все шансы продолжить свою выигрышную серию, тем более при участии Джоковича. К чести Новака, он не счел выигрыш Уимблдона достаточно веской причиной, чтобы отказаться от участия в матчах Кубка Дэвиса, что вероятно, прибавит ему еще больше почитателей у него на родине.

 А в это время, на другом конце планеты, в Китае, не менее восторженная местная публика приветствовала На Ли, которая наконец-то добралась до дома. На Ли выиграла открытый чемпионат Франции, став первой китаянкой, которая победила в турнире Большого Шлема.
